Paul and I have begun writing a song.
It’s been three days and most of it is written.
There are a few concepts floating in my head.
I’ve got an idea for some backing vocal harmonies during the melodically rising post-verse part.
Which sounds really nice in my head. I think I’ll write it on melodica first. Then transpose it to vocals.

I’m turning my room at home into a make-shift studio.
Been listening to Bee Thousand by Guided by Voices a lot lately.
Its an amazing cd.
The previous album didn’t sell.
So they decided to buy a bunch of 4-track equipment and just produce it themselves.
It turned into a giant songwriting session where anyone who was there would record. Which sounds incredibly organic.
