Ran some tracks through the 1176LN
and the Aural Exciter which is surprisingly awesome.
Thanks for the tip Tape-Op.
1176 is great for making things musically louder but is not the most subtle compressor.
Although acoustic guitar fucking shines through this thing when it is recorded right.

MP3 was an okay format when our hard-drives could hold less than 300-Gigabytes.
Additionally, clients are usually fine with mp3s if that is the medium with which they release their music. The logic follows. However, if you are creating a CD Master for duplication with mp3 files where is the logic in that?

I really feel like now is the time to find more current music than I will ever know what to do with.
However, I do feel like a lot of music is in it’s infancy stages because the artists mainly multi-track. Which can deliver some great performances, even if they are incredibly staggered and edited.
